Edible gifts are always popular at Christmas, especially if you've taken the time to make them yourself. Jams, chutneys and other preserves make great presents and can be made well in advance.
A nice gift idea is to make a selection and package them up in small jars.
Downloadable labels, wrapping and presentation ideas can be found in the labels section above.
Below are some ideas for seasonal preserves:

Crystallised Ginger
A treat as a snack, or use as a luxury ingredient in jams and chutneys.

Pickled Onions
Ideal with cold meats on Boxing Day.

Apple and Cranberry Chutney
This light coloured, fruity chutney would make a great Christmas chutney, ideal for cheeses and cold meats.

Preserved Lemons
A jar of these will last all year, and will add depth to diced in couscous and pasta dishes or in risotto.
