A golden coloured spiced drink.
500 g grated quinces
70 cl vodka
400g caster sugar
3 cinnamon sticks
Put all the ingredients in a sterilised kilner jar and pour over the vodka.
Leave in a cool dark place for at least six weeks, shaking regularly to ensure the sugar is dissolved.
Strain before bottling in sterilised bottles.
